Our driver will be ready at the airport to receive you as you arrive from your flight. He will warmly welcome you and briefly tell you about Uganda and tourism. He will transfer you from the airport to the accommodation where you will spend the night as you prepare for your worthwhile safari in Uganda. You will see the big Lake Victoria on your way from the airport with its beautiful view which is eye-catching.
You will start your day with breakfast before you start your journey to Lake Mburo National Park. This park is one of the ten parks which do a great job in Uganda tourism. It is located in western Uganda which is a 3-4hours drive. On arrival, you will have lunch, rest and go for an afternoon game drive in the park. This park is rich with wildlife but famously know for Lake Mburo and the beautiful printed Zebras. You will see all these including other animals like buffalos, leopards, impala, water bucks and many others. After the game drive you will retire at the lodge for the night
On this day, after your breakfast you will go for a walking safari through the savannah plains of Lake Mburo. On this safari you will appreciate nature at its best in this part of the country. Have lunch after the walking safari and drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. This park is the home of mountain gorillas in Uganda. The park has a very big forest which harbors different families of gorillas. You wouldn’t like to miss visiting this place. On arrival you will check in one of our best lodges for the night.
Here comes the fourth day, have your breakfast in time and set out for this very memorable thrilling experience. Gorilla tracking is the best experience that any tourist can ever have in Uganda. It is so breathtaking coming into face to face with the gorillas, watching them feed, play and rest. It feels so good. The tracking will take most time of the day and when you are done, you will kill off the long day at your lodge.
Another beautiful morning to enjoy western Uganda. On this day, after breakfast our driver will transfer you from Bwindi to Queen Elizabeth National Park which is one of the biggest parks in Uganda. It has the Northern part and the Southern part. We will first go to the Southern part which is known as the Ishasha sector. On arrival you will check in in your lodge, rest as you wait for your dinner and overnight at own time.
After breakfast, you will head out with our tour guide for a game drive where you will see tree climbing lions. The Ishasha sector is a unique place in Queen Elizabeth National park because of its tree climbing lions. This is the only place in Africa where you will find these lions. They stay in trees because they want to hide away from their predators and they only come down to look for food. In the afternoon you will be transferred to the Northern part of Queen Elizabeth National Park. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
You can never get enough of the Pearl of Africa. Wake up to the singing of the birds, have breakfast and move out for a game drive in the Northern part of Queen Elizabeth National Park. This is the richest park with wildlife. You will see elephants, buffalos, Kobs, bushbucks, Hippos and many others. In the afternoon you will enjoy a boat cruise on the famous Kazinga channel which connects Lake Edward and Lake George. On the cruise you will view a number of bird species and animals coming to the shores of the lakes to quench their thirst. This is another great experience that you should not miss out. Overnight and dinner will be at leisure as you return to the lodge.
Wake up and have breakfast as you prepare for what the day have for you. Our driver/ tour guide will drive you to Fort Portal which is another village in Western Uganda. On arrival you will have lunch and move out for a cultural tour. During this cultural tour, you will learn the ways of life of the people in this region and also enjoy some entertainment like the cultural dances. Late in the evening, you will retire to your lodge for the night.
Have your tasty African breakfast at the lodge and prepare for adventure once more. This day you will have an opportunity to visit the crater lakes that make Fort Portal a very beautiful place. They are dramatically designed all over the steep hills, giving tourists a strong urge to reach the place. You will also visit the Amabere caves and learn about their history. After these activities, you will have lunch and drive back to Kampala. You will check in in your lodge where you spend your last night in Uganda.
Start your day with a good breakfast after which you drive off to the Crafts market in Kampala where you will see different items made using African materials. You will later have lunch and then continue to Entebbe Botanical gardens for an afternoon breathtaking nature walk as you take in your last day of the safari. Our driver will then drive you to the airport to catch your flight.
